XLAB and SFB1565 – A Shared Journey into Molecular Biology
The week-long science camp, a collaboration between XLAB and SFB 1565, combines hands-on molecular biology exercises at XLAB with a research visit to Prof. Markus Bohnsack at his Institute of Molecular Biology. While the students conducted experiments on gene expression regulation under the guidance of Dr. Kristina Wiege, their visit to the Institute of Molecular Biology provided them with insights into current research, artificial intelligence in biology, and academic career paths. XLAB and SFB1565 helped bridge the gap between the classroom and the real world of research.
