Marina Rodnina, member of our SFB, has received funding of almost €10 million through a Synergy Grant from the European Research Council (ERC) for her CHAPEROME project in collaboration with Judith Frydman (Stanford, USA) and Johannes Buchner (TUM, Munich). The team will investigate how chaperones control protein synthesis on the ribosome and help cells to adapt to stress such as changing physiological conditions. Congratulations!
